40% of the time that i go out, i get to the bars after midnight. that would be miserable

You get used to it. People are all stunned about the bars closing when they do, as if Ole Miss students go out at 11:30 and then say "awww shucks!" when the bar closes. We just start drinking earlier. What's the big fricking deal?

If you party from 6 until midnight versus 9 until 3? What's the difference? You still partied for 6 hours?

Seriously, it really only is a problem to people who aren't used to it. It sucks, in that I wish they never closed, but it hasn't kept us from having fun.

Do they not do this on game weekends? I have been to Oxford for Alabama-OM games many times, and I can't recall the bars closing before midnight on those Friday nights.
