Missouri's recruiting has been atrocious in 2011 and so far in 2012. I suspect they get worst before they get better. TA&M is to 10 this year and has been in the top 30 over the last few years. There is certainly some validity to this. However, Mizzou does pretty well with under-rated recruits. It is eye-opening looking at the number of 4*'s some of these programs have, but we send as many boys to the NFL has half the SEC teams.

Mizzou needs to step up big time in stadium renovation. I'd prefer we either get rid of the rocks or at least make the visitors sit there.

As to the original question, Mizzou seems to have the easier path in the near future like others have stated. A$M has everything in place to succeed, they just haven't been able to do so. I think they are over-rated as a program but they really do have a great fanbase.

Mizzou goes first but I wouldn't bet money on that.
