I lived in NOLA most of my life and I know two people who were involved in incidents. One was a purse snatch and run and the other was punched and has his wallet taken by a random thugs. A battery, gunpoint robbery and stabbing in the same night is...unlucky, at the least. It's not surprising these things happened on such a big night, but to know of friends involved in all three is.unusual, even for NOLA.
