You know or anyone know the danger of this happening again or further damage. Does the first injury make it more likely to have problems with it in the future?

Yeah how does this compare to Bo Jackson's hip issue? Didn't it start with a similar trauma to the joint?

It depends...

Did he have surgery? If so, there is a condition that can set in Avascular necrosis, it is what Bo Jackson got after his first surgery, that lead to needing a total hip replacement... and we know how that worked out for Bo.

If he did have any type fracture, bone fragments can tear up the cartilage in the joint. That can be hard to detect in a MRI.

I never had it pop out again, but my hip just never quite worked the same way. I tended to over compensate on my left side (dislocated the right side) which led to some back issues later on in life.

The poor guy dislocated his elbow against UF and then his hip in the BCSCG.
