ohiovol is right. most in the thread are really overstating things.
UT has the two best wideouts in the league, arguably the most talented QB in the league, five returning O-linemen, and ten returning starters on defense, most of whom were highly regarded recruits.
An elite coach could absolutely win the east with this team. Not saying Dooley is that guy.
PS: And most of those players I alluded to above are coming back AGAIN the next year, so if it doesn't happen in '12 it could in '13.

UT has some good pieces (only the Lord knows how) but is a long way away from competing. I'm actually rooting for you guys to get back and move USC back to their normal level. It's more fun that way.
