Better to cab it. Are you staying at the Hilton Riverside? That's the LSU team hotel....Or a Hilton Garden Inn?

The train/bus station is a little over a mile I would say from the Hilton Riverside. But as is the case in most cities the bus/train station area is a little "depressed".
