Back in the day, our Basketball was the shiznit! Our football program sucked hard, so attention was focused on basketball. A home game at Walton (when it was first built) was absolutely thunderous. Taking a date to a game would surely 'seal the deal'. That having been said, I don't think the Arky fan base has near the passion it had in the past. I'd put them a little further down the list (perhaps #5 after Florida and Vandy).

We are going on for more than a decade of sucky/mediocre basketball and our basketball STILL has more support than the majority of programs. Attendance is pretty awesome.

The absolute support is not the same as it was, but relative to other SEC basketball programs we're still #2 in terms of fan support.
