OK, I'm a newbie, but I'll chime in. We're looking pretty good so far. I think our offense will be fine in the SEC east next year, but defense is gonna have to step it up.
As far as attendance today...pathetic. It's embarrassing. But, it's the Monday after Christmas, at a bowl game we've been to several times before, in Shreveport. Not an optimal setup for bowl travels.
People are fired up about being in the SEC next year, and I bet our travel will improve significantly. Fans are planning vacations around football games...just need the schedule already!

I'm putting the embarrassment more on Shreveport than I am either team. When there is a bowl game in your town, you need to support it. People in Memphis get that. Shreveport apparently didn't get the memo.
