It's a contact sport genius. If you honestly believe hitting a player in his shoulder PADS was a cheap or dirty move then you need to remove the tampon from your anus. You are right though, swinging low and hitting him in an area that would have been unprotected would have been a much better way to handle it. Hell, he probably should have just put his helmet right in the small of the his back.
There are far worse things that take place on almost every down in major college football.
