No way Florida was higher than middle of the pack before the 1990s. So it is possible to change positions in the span of a few seasons.

Like what's happening at Tennessee.

What I'm saying is that the big 6 have won on levels that the others haven't won on. I mean if Arkansas won 2 national championships in the next decade, then they probably join the big 6. The point is that no school outside big 6 has proven anything to be considered elite programs.
