Bama is ranked behind them right now, so I don't why we would jump them with a lose.

So let's say hypothetically Alabama outplayed LSU but LSU still wins.
The answer is still no. What ultimately matters in the end is the final score, nothing more, nothing less. If you can't finish, then you don't deserve to jump over LSU if you lose.
