re: What if Penn St. Situation Happened At Your School?

As to what I would do if something like that happened at Auburn, first off I would be really devestated. I love Auburn and it would be hard to reconcile my good memories with such awful things. The first thing I would do would be to write a letter to the BOT demanding everyone involved be fired and that the University do everything it could to help the victims.

I'd still love Auburn, but I would hate everyone involved in the incidents. I would boycott all athletic events until after the administration and the athletic staff cleaned house.

After they fired everyone involved I would probably slowly come back to supporting the school/team, realizing that the actions of a few should not make me hate the entire institution. But it would be really tough to cheer for the Tigers without thinking of all the awful things that happened from people representing my school.

I pray nothing like that ever occurs at Auburn (or any other school for that matter). Just terrible for those poor kids.
