When in the past LSU has some of their best ground games against their team.

Well I don't know, maybe it's the fact that we have shut down every running game we have played against, and Ware/Ford don't intimidate us as much as LSU fans would like. Our defense is built to stop the run, so why would we not think that we can stop you as well?

because they only allow 1.7 yards per carry.

With almost the same group of players on both teams, LSU out-rushed Alabama by more than 2-1 last year.

When LSU fans say things like this, I imagine a Bama fan as my old high school math teacher. Except when my teacher says, "Show your work for proof," she says, "Show your STATSSSSS for proof!"

See 2010 game when LSU had 0 passing game so to speak. And see 2010 alabama stats against other running teams and then look at what LSU was able to do

By the way I will allow bama fans to look up the stats that way they are able to learn somethings and not say the stats where skewed.

I am not saying that Bama will completely shut down LSU's running game. However, I do think that LSU must have some success passing before they will have much success running the ball. I am much more concerned about Rueben Randle, Odell Beckham and Deangelo Peterson than Spencer Ware or Michael Ford. I watched the West Va. replay last night and it has given me more hope that LSU is not as unbeatable as their record might suggest. That Claiborne return was a huge momentum swing in that game.

Will admit that WV game wasnt well played in some parts of the game especially against the short passing game WV presented with.

I hope LSU uses the pass to set up the run, don't think it is a must to win seeing how we where able to run last year to set up the pass. when we like i said earlier had no passing game last year against the same team almost.

Ok, I'll bite:
You guys haven't faced a team in the top 30 in rushing yet. The one team you faced in the top 50 (Penn St) rushed for 107 on you.
I'm not saying that it's not going to be tough running on you, but you have not faced a team that runs better than LSU. Here's to a good game Saturday

and because you like stats
Bama's Rushing offenses faced:
Kent St-117
Penn St-36
North Texas-79
Arkansas-87
Florida-68
Vandy-52
Tennessee-118
Ole Miss-95

Edit:by the way LSU is in the top 30 in rushing
