Chooses to. They run an offense that is built on power, speed, misdirection, etc. It is designed to tire defenses out as a strategy and make it difficult to position themselves correctly. It is an offensive scheme just as any other offensive scheme used to play on a teams strengths and take advantage of your opponents weaknesses. So if other teams or fans don't like it, too frickin bad.

I don't think any team who employs a hurry up offense seeks sympathy. The fake injury ploy is just plain wrong.

Snapping the ball when players are still trying to run to their side of the ball is not a scheme, it's cheap.

Faking an injury is no more cheating than holding and not getting caught, trapping a ball and pretending you caught it or laying on the ball until the ref makes you get off of it to run more seconds off the clock because you know your team can't get another 1st down against the defense.
