Both teams have key injuries, right?

For A&M:

Ryan Swope, WR-- probable (concussion): Most effective WR on our roster. Need a huge game from him, but not even counting on him playing yet

Jonathan Mathis, DL-- questionable (leg injury)...doubt he plays...Pretty sure it's a knee injury. We are pitifully thin at DL, not to mention our pass rush and push on the line has been sporadic even with him in...definite loss here.

Coryell Judie, DB-- questionable (leg injury)Best cover man on team...Didn't play last week either...Absolutely huge loss as Arkie WR's are leaps and bounds ahead of the WR core at OSU (Blackmon be damned). We're deeper here than at DL, but no other CB outside of his starting counter part, Terrence Frederick, possesses his cover skills or is as physical....Arkie runs wild in the passing game.

Steven Campbell, DB-- out for Arkansas (leg MRI results were good news and is expected back in a few weeks)...Probably our most athletically gifted player with regard to natural ability...You could argue C-Mike as well, but we have nothing else like him on D save Judie. This kid is sudden and runs a sub 4.4...He's been spotty in coverage all year but the bottom line is that he's wildly fast and physical....Again, another huge, huge hit for the secondary.

In sum, the guys who are out for this game are absolutely critical to A&M's success. While we have Fuller, he's struggling with getting separation against good DBs and Swope has consistently been Tannehill's go to guy as evidenced by his leading the team in virtually all WRs stats this year. Still, this is our deepest position on the team.

To fill the Judie void, A&M will play a rotation that consists of an absent minded RS Senior in Lionel Smith (accountable for a lot of the damage of OSU's opening drive in the 3rd), Dustin Harris (fast and athletic junior who's undersized and also prone to busting up coverages), and maybe either Toney Hurd (physical 5'9 sophomore who really hasn't done anything of substance), Floyd Raven (True Fish who's been getting looks at STs; A&M is excited about him) or Deshzor Everett (True Fish out of La. that weighs maybe 175 soaking wet).

To fill the Campbell void, A&M will play a lot of Steven Terrell, a junior who has great speed and some size, but his play is slowed because he just can't figure it out. They will also play True Freshman Howard Matthews, who A&M is very excited about but obviously he's vulnerable seeing how he's seen nothing like Arkie WRs.

Finally, to fill Mathis spot, A&M will just sub in a various array of mediocre Big 12 talent players...most definitely a liability.

You have to like Arkie here. I know their best RB went down but I think their boy Wilson (its is Wilson, right?) will have a big day. A&M's D will likely struggle....Hopefully Sherman won't inexplicably abandon the running game again so the D can stay off the field...Aren't Arkies starting DEs down? I think A&M score points on Arkie (20-30) but Arkie will likely score 30-40.
