Ark and LSU fans seem to be the only people opposed to having the game in Atlanta.

I am in favor of keeping it in Atlanta. It is kind of like a bowl game and has become tradition to be there. N.O. is a fantastic city and I love the Superdome, but the SEC champs usually end up in the Sugar Bowl (or BCS championship game which is there 1/4 of the time).

The biggest reason though is geography. In one of the other threads on this topic someone did the math. Average driving distance of all 12 SEC schools:

To Atlanta: 300 miles
To New Orleans: 468 miles
To Dallas: 691 miles

IMO, that should end the debate right there. Really, the only city that might make more geographic sense is Birmingham (the original location), but Legion Field sucks and who wants to visit B'ham.

Not opposed to it being in ATL. As I recall, LSU hasn't done too badly in the GA Dome.

HOWEVER, if its decided the game will rotate, the Superdome should be considered.
