Think of how fricked up it would be for the participating teams and their fanbases. There would be a possibility of BOTH teams playing BACK in the Superdome only a few weeks later.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't that happen to South Carolina last year in Atlanta? Lost the SEC CG then lost a Peach Bowl?
