i don't want to have an easier division to cruise through every season. i want to play two of our most long-standing rivals in Tiger Stadium and on the road every year. this is fricking bullshite. i hate the current state of college football. tradition is thrown out the window so people can continue to line their pockets. meanwhile the fans suffer. fricking bullshite.

i agree i hate super conferences as well for this very reason but if they happen we might as well run shite on our side

I actually agree with you R2R - traditions do seem to be taking a backseat the last few years - but the SEC would lose a TON of cash if the big rivalry games didnt happen anymore.
will be interesting to see how it all shakes out.

And for what? 1-2 more million dollars a year?
Is dumping all of the traditions and rivalries worth 1-2 million a year?
With UT down, UGA down, USCe a recent contender & UK & Vandy always down, the East was a UF lock.
Now, if Aub & Bama go East, it will be an LSU/Arky SEC West lock every year.
