for the record Hood did not rape his cousin with a plunger. he was a bystander in a horrible situation.

but screw the facts. if people want to call him "plunger incest pedophile rapist" then let them. this is a sports board after all.

He was caught in a situation and wasnot the main instigator. he was i think 14 years old. he has been punished for it.

I know he is a public figure now(sort of), but some of yall need to show some compassion to all of it. Especially the christians on this board. In my opinion what happened there is between him, his cousin, and his family. They were minors at the time and the law protects minors.

Hood is obviously a pretty positive person now and dont let your negativity ruin that. You can bet that incident haunts him everyday.

That being said. I hope he does well but not against Bama.

In 2003, when Daniel Hood was 13 years old, he and a 17-year-old friend bound Hood’s 14-year-old cousin with duct tape and raped her with a toilet plunger. The rape took place in Hood’s bedroom.

A court later found that Hood had “shown virtually no remorse” for the crime, and that he had “placed the blame on the victim and on the co-defendant,” while minimizing his own role.

quote:

Hood now says he feels profound remorse, but describes himself as a witness to the crime rather than a participant. The court found, however, that he had helped to bind the victim with tape, and the victim testified the he laughed as her clothes were stripped off. Because her eyes were covered with tape, she was unable to testify in full as to what role he played in the remainder of the assault.

Yeah Hood's a swell guy. Don't hold it against me if I don't wish this guy the best of luck.
