Will Brooks Melchior be man enough to recant his faux story?

Now that it's been reported that Tigerettes don't get paid to be Tigerettes, will he be man enough to issue a correction article?
Another thing, when will people stop blindly believing everything reported on the net?

It's only true when it's about Auburn. Didn't you know that already? Everything posted on the internet about Auburn's dirty deeds is true.

After all the erroneous reporting that happens on a daily basis on the internet, you'd think by now people would be smart enough to take any 'report' with a grain of salt.
Nope, people blindly believe anything that's on the net without any second guess whatsoever. It's just like a sheep.

I wont link to it, but NTY is all over him now. I guess SbB will have to shut down his website soon.

Me providing the link would be useless when I'm trying to teach you guys to stop blindly believing everything u read on the net.
I know this for a fact though, tigerettes don't get paid to be tigerettes, they get paid for other jobs they do within the Athletic Department.
I saw the entire list including the names Brooks Melchoir conveniently left off his report. There were over 75 tigerettes on the list. Out of those 75, 48 was listed showing they made no money being a Tigerette. The 27 Sports by brooks listed had other jobs that they were being paid for.

That's better, but it is my understanding that volunteer does not always signify unpaid.

So there's another Jamie Nolen?

Dude, this isn't rocket science. It's no wonder people blindly believe anything they see on the net. They can't think for themselves
It's a shame I have to break this down to you. Read slowly. Just because there's a document showing a person getting paid on certain dates, doesn't mean that person was being paid specifically to be a Tigerrette.

Like it was already said, there are around 75 hosts. Ole Sherlock Dumbass only found payments for 27 of them. Why do you think that is? Maybe because they are the only ones who actually have jobs with the University? The other 50 who volunteer are not actually employed by Auburn?

So you're saying this has nothing to to do with anything either?

The Insider View: Philip Marshall..
It was bad when Cam Newton’s character was assaulted. It was bad when Auburn’s national championship was called into question based on nothing.
But what happened Monday was worse. Brooks Melchior, the real name behind the vitriol on the SportsByBrooks web site, breathlessly exposed that some Auburn Tigerettes had been paid in the past two years. A real reporter, of course, would have done some minimal research and discovered that they were not paid for their work as Tigerettes but for various budgeted student jobs. But to call Melchior a reporter is like calling me skinny. You can say it, but it doesn’t make it so.
Instead, Melchior wrote a long piece about some Auburn Tigerettes getting paid and that some of them became Facebook friends with a former recruit after he enrolled in school. He dug out some old quotes and pretended he had a scoop.
Melchior, no doubt, would say that he wrote nothing in the piece that wasn’t true. But he did exactly what set out to do. He gave the impression that the Tigerettes had done something wrong.
He didn’t have to say it. The comments on the story said it for him. That’s the way he works.
Innuendo is Melchior’s stock in trade. Truth? Accuracy? Context? Not so much.
It’s bad when the target is a big-time college quarterback, but big-time college quarterbacks are accustomed to being on the big stage, even accustomed to being criticized.
It’s bad when it’s a coach, but coaches are paid well enough to take it.
But when Melchior takes off after female college students about whom he knows nothing, resulting in faceless, gutless message board posters calling them prostitutes and worse, that’s a new low.
All of us have, at one time or another, written stories that hurt people. Some of us have empathy for those who are hurt.
And then there are those who just don’t care.

FLAMER ALERT: Attack Mr. Marshall, do not pay attention to fact, go with rumor, innuendo, and lies. That is what many on message boards live for.
