The Research & Technology Park is mainly focused on start-ups spun off by the University. I think they have around 200,000 sq ft of space already, most of it in use. Lots of engineering-based jobs, nano-tech, etc.
Yeah, Fayetteville was in the running for the Hewlett Packard facility that eventually went to Conway. I know the last mayor was big on attracting that kind of investment, although I have my doubts about the current administration.

I'm working on it. I would like to see NWA attract businesses like HP and other technology based companies. It brings growth, but the good kind of growth.
