When I finally get this fracking IT degree I will be moving to NWA. It is a mutual interest I share with the lady friend. The job offer I'm awaiting is in Alabama, but I will have no qualms leaving it when an IT opportunity becomes available in NWA.

You know, if Fayetteville could snag about 1000 tech jobs down by the research park, this city would blow up in a big way. That's really all that is missing right now.

Mayor Coody was big on attracting those kinds of jobs. The Technology Park is really expanding quickly, so its really only a matter of time.

Unfortunately, the anti-growth people (the ones who simultaneously want parks, trails, and cheap houses so they can work in bars and own a home downtown) fight development like that tooth and nail.

I have actually considered making a move back to Texas for a few years, while retaining the property that I own here. I have a great job currently, but I am afraid my resume may get stagnant. I don't know. I am almost certain that Fayetteville is where I want to be for good, but lately I have been restless.
