That is ridiculous. Why would a University knowingly set themselves up for a wrongful death suit? If anything, the parents should have taken responsibility of their child's well being. I know this sounds harsh, but by their logic, the parents were neglecting him thus leading to his unfortunate death.
I just hope this is a case of a grieving father looking for someone to blame with hopes of it making him feel "better", and NOT just him looking to make cash off his child's death.

There IS a difference....but not much.
My hopes regarding the family is that this lawsuit ISN'T about the money and instead will be a suit that will help prevent future deaths. I have a glimmer of hope about that being that we were told back in January it would be a $10 million suit and now there is no dollar amount listed.
