We buried my brother-in-law today. I was at the wake last night. I guess the funerial home did the best that they could do, but he was swollen and looked at peace. I would like somebody on this board to tell Afreaux one thing. Afreaux and I had many disagreements about race or other things, but my brother-in-law shielded a siventeen year old black girl and her thirteen week old baby. Unfortunately they all died, but people need to realize that when lives are in danger, color goes by the wayside. People are definitely people.

Checking in. Hope all are well and accounted for. Been helping in this area with the tornado that hit 4 miles from my house in Walker County. 14 dead in our area. Husband came upon the houses immediately after the storm. He helped for several hours and they had 4 dead, 3 unresponsive and 2 missing. Total count for our county was 14. Terrible. Husband has not slept since. Sister is Director of Nurses at a Bham hospital and she says the victims they have will not close their eyes. They just cry and say when they do, they see it all again. Please remember all these people in the south in your prayers. We are at 255 dead, over 996 injured and 580 missing total in Alabama as of last news coverage. Football just doesn't seem all that important right this minute. See you tomorrow.
