I know it is......and I don't think that the majority of the people who were chanting that at the games meant it as racist in nature. I understand the economic viewpoint of it.

If it weren't for the fact that it is a Klan saying, it would have never been an issue......i don't think.

I really didn't think anything of it when I got here. Everyone did it and it was always fun after a win. It was incredible after the Texas Tech game to hear half the stadium singing along and cheering. Probably one of the best weekends to be an Ole Miss fan I've ever been part of.

Long story short. Didn't see anything wrong with it till those hood wearing Auburn fans showed up.

I am from Mississippi...I am not an Ole Miss fan, I am a Tiger fan (for an important reason)and an USM alumnus. However, I have many friends that are graduates of Ole Miss. My problem with the songs, the mascot and everything else is ...When do you draw the line. I noticed in the Media that the players (black and white did not object to Colonel Reb) but Robert Khayat and Pete Boone(correct me if I am wrong)were on a mission to ram that bear down your throat ... what if the tiger, bulldog, gator or hog suddenly became politically incorrect. Would we all fold? Sorry for the rant
