I'm suprised he wasn't mentioned as a candidate before now. His SEC record was absolutely horrible. I know a lot of State fans give him a pass since he was a good QB at State in the 70's, but he was a bad head coach. Give me the 2004-2006 Croom led State teams any day over the 1988 "Tech and Ten" season.
