I think Eric Smith was given too many chances, but I am glad he's gone.

so Ross, how much money did you have to pay to get Michael Dyer? Was it more than Cam?

He was given too many chances imo. They should have kicked him off the team after he kneed that Oregon player in the BCSNG.

Makes you wonder how many others have been in trouble but never released or the hush money was paid to keep quiet. Au seems to keep their dirty laundry quiet and whenever they need to unload a player to make room they can dismiss with cause. All that oversigning is catching up with them and too bad for the senior getting kicked to curb, not very family like.

I think they should have kept him off after he knocked the kid unconscious. When he kneed that Oregon guy, I was sick...

If I remember correctly, that was his first time being "in trouble". I can understand him getting a second shot, but he should've been suspended for longer than 1 bowl game for starters. After his actions in the Oregon game, his arse should've been gone. I felt sick too when he did it. There was absolutely no reason for him to do that.

yeah, I guess Tre Mason better be ready.

I wish Aycock would have stuck around, he'd have a golden opportunity now.

This is not making sense...since he was suspended twice.

I honestly don't know if it was his first time getting in trouble, because of the youthful offender status... But the poor guy who was hurt was an engineering student, and he was literally beat to a pulp, and unconscious on the ground... I just thought that at the time to have a guy who was SO physical up against someone who wasn't was terrible. I know a lot of the facts of the case weren't made public, only because my brother knew the prosecutor...

Any time, regardless of the program, I always feel so badly for the good fans too, because you love your team so much, and then when something crappy like that happens, it makes it so hard to keep from getting a bad taste...

Hopefully he gets help before he keeps acting out so much. That would be the best...

Why? He is too small to ever amount to anything on the Dline. And does not have the brute strength to make up for being to small.
