Finebaum definitely makes a living off of the hate. IMO he spurrs it on for the benefit of his own show. Does he legally have any liability when an idiot does a stupid act.....Of course not. Morally he does have liability IMO. JMO

All true, but the hate would be there even if Finebaum didn't have a show. Anything he says will be regarded as a slam by one side or the other. The show is driven by the callers and Finebaum does a great job of keeping the fire stoked, but that is his job. That is talk radio, whether it's sports or politics.
