I posted this on page 9 but I think it got lost in the shuffle:
LSU fans are getting restless since three other SEC teams have won BCS titles since they last won one. They are compelled to find ways to remind everyone of the fact they are in the BCS champ club too, and one of their favorite ways is to remind Arkansas fans which team has a BCS championship and who doesn't, as if Arkansas fans are in dire need of such reminders and as if giving Arkansas fans such reminders will actually change the way we talk and feel about our team.
The OP who started this thread is obviously falling into the same insecure tactics as the LSU fans. Gator fans were on top 3 years ago, but that's now old news, they're coming off a worse season than Arkansas, and Arkansas's future looks as bright as theirs and they can't stand they could be moving down the totem pole in the coming years.
Gators, Tigers, we KNOW you won BCS championships! Don't worry, we aren't trying to take them away from you! Nothing we say makes history any different than what it was. But with saying that, your program's history isn't going to dictate how optimistic I can feel about my team or how delusional/entitled/jealous/whateveryouwanttosay I will allow myself to be on a frikin college sports message board.
