Before I make this statement, I just want to get this out of the way and say that I like South Carolina (as a state and football program).
Now that I've gotten that out of the way, I'll say this: South Carolina will NEVER consistently compete for SEC championships with historical powers such as Georgia and Tennessee in the same division. Yes, Florida's success has been more recent than the two aforementioned programs, but there is no way Florida doesn't end up back on top sometime soon with the vast amount of resources at their disposal.
There, that's my $0.02
