This. Saban's Bama is an organization, not a "family" where mommy and daddy love you no matter what. He has strict rules regarding expectations of conduct as well as ability and performance. When a player does not live up to expectations in any of these areas, other options are found, whether that be a transfer or continuing to receive a free education while no longer playing football. No player with good character is kicked to the curb without the opportunity to receive an education. This is how it is and how it will always be until and unless the NCAA makes it an issue.
