Possible, but doubtful. At that point in the game, you were playing with a cold Jarrett Lee and your starting running back had just broken his collar bone. Your offense had sucked all night. Backup QB and running back will not likely drive down the field to score a game winning touchdown - when they hadn't been able to do that all night. Just saying.

I don't think we would have won either. Bama was the better team. We lost mostly because Ingram ran all over us in the 2nd half. But it was a one score game at the time, Lee was the QB on the previous TD drive, momemtum still matters, and it only takes one breakdown, play, etc.

As far as the OP, I certainly don't think AU '10 would destroy UA '09. Who did they "destroy" other than USCe in the SECCG. But as far who was the better team I think you have to qualify things somewhat since teams improve, regress, have injuries, schedule sequences, etc.

I think Bama '09 was a more complete team at the end of the season than AU is presently so I'd give a slight edge to Bama.
