Do you really think that the son had no clue what the father was doing?
I think most reasonable people would think otherwise.
That said, it might be refreshing to admit we all want Auburn's season to go down in flames over this before the SEC title game, because we want to be 12 - 0 and headed to Atlanta instead.
That doesn't mean we are wrong to want this or that Auburn should not pay the price - but every school has this sort of thing going on to some extent.
The only times these things come out is when people can't keep quiet, or the circumstances are so brazen, such as has occurred with the father here.

Guys is very easy! When Cam spoke to the Miss state coach and stated in a upset voice ( Crying) that he is sorry he cannot attend Miss st, because the "money" is just to much to turn down. Well Auburn had to be giving that money! IF its proven, then Auburn is in Big trouble.
If this conversation was recorded and I think it was and now the FBI has the recordings in their possession, then when they interview CAm or Cecil and they lie about the conversation Then Auburn is in more trouble.
I am sure John Bond was upset that Cam was going to turn them down and had that Recorder ready and taping the whole conversation with CAm. He knew he could use whatever Cam stated on the tape to put Auburn in a lot of trouble.
