And since the Bear died the most storied program in college football history - Notre Dame - has only won one national title (1988).
Oklahoma has won two (1985, 2000), Ohio State has won one (2002), Nebraska has won three (1994,1995,1997), Michigan has won one (1997), Penn State has won one (1986), Texas has won one (2005), USC has won two (2004, 2005 [I don't count 2003]), and Alabama has won two (1992, 2009).
I don't really see the point you are trying to make here. The "traditional schools" that dominated the 50s, 60s, and 70s with Alabama have all struggled to maintain that level of dominance that they enjoyed back in the day. Hell, even Florida State managed just two national titles in the 90s and they were dominant throughout that whole decade. The new rules established by the NCAA have worked in limiting the dynasty. And with the SEC being the way it is you will never see a team dominate this conference the way Alabama did in the 70s.

'05 was Texas. How many does Miami have since then?
