Yes -- but based on projected ratings. CBS projects the ratings knowing they will cherry pick the games. Furthermore, if the actual ratings differ, then the advertiser gets a credit or refund. CBS protects its advertising revenue by broadcasting the games with the most national interest.

Yes but the ratings they have this year will affect their next contract. You really shouldn't argue this because you obviously don't know what you're talking about.
