Ok, after reading a lot of post on this thread I've gotten motivation to get my fat arse in shape!!

Starting weight 306lbs my first goal is 250lbs final goal is 195lbs.
I'm 3 weeks in and down to 288.

No diet plan just trying to change my eating habits. My food intake goals each day is to stay under 2000 cals, 100 carbs and 1500mg of salt.

Also started couch to 5K this week.

I'm feeling better and find myself with more energy. Let’s hope I can keep it up, got a long road ahead of me.

Thanks to all who have posted on this thread for giving me the motivation to do this!!

258/212/210

Started at begining of 2010. Hit 212 spring of 2011. Have stayed 212 - 214 ever since. Knock on wood. I visit this sight often for inspiration. The weight isn't hard to keep off now since my appetite is way below where it was and I can't eat as much at once. I eat a hard boiled egg in the am, a few pistachios during the day, then eat supper (like beans or stew). No snacks, no beer or soft drinks (except red wine), etc. A low glycemic diet has worked for me.

Good goals.
May I make a recommendation? Try cutting that to 80 carbs. For effortless weight loss, you should try to consume 80 or less grams of carbs per day. 100-120 is maintenance, and any more begins weight gain/storing as fat. For super fast loss and to be in a ketogenic state, approx. 40 or less carbs a day.

My pre-workout supplement and new protein powder came in today. That pre-workout is a monster. I worked out SO much harder. My pumps on the weights were ridiculous. I'm going to be sooooooooo sore, particularly in my shoulders. My shoulders normally wear out before I can get a good burn going, muscle fatigue sets in. But this PWO helped me finish my sets on my shoulder presses and my shoulders were burning for all the way til about 30 minutes after I worked out.

Welcome aboard!

I'm about 2 pounds heavier than last Wednesday but I had 4 terrible days last week.

The office competition appears to be out of reach because the National Guard Guy is now off training, getting his arse whipped into shape by professionals.

He claims, he has dropped 10 since Friday!

Oh well, I am still trying to hit 159 by March 28th at which point I will be done!

DONE I TELL YOU!!!

My diet has a 2 year birthday on the 16th, then I'm puttin her down on the 28th.

My plan then will be to bounce around from 165 to 175 and then panic at 175 until I get back around 165.
