His being hired at Arkansas wasnt based solely on his merits. And Tulsa, in my mind, doesnt mean a whole lot. But if Malzahn has a good offense at AU for a few years, then no one will question his capabilities.

Oh for sure, the Hogs wanted that QB Mustain and that wide receiver Williams but Malzahn was also brought in because he can coach and the Hogs wanted a new identity. Bad as I hate it, I think AU will move the chains.
