Best weapons dont always equate to being in the top of the league in offense. Do you really think last year 10 teams in the SEC had better or more offensive weapons than LSU?

Perhaps not. But at some point, one has to stop judging these things based solely on "potential", if just to remove some of the subjectivity. You'll never remove it completely, since it's impossible to compare "apples to apples" with completely different rosters, schedules, etc.

But just having 4/5 stars next to your name coming out of high school isn't going to catch any passes, or block any field goals. At some point, you have to go and do it.

No not even close but does it really matter? This is college football and the last time I checked scoring points matters more than how many of your players project to the next level.
