Who plays a tougher non-conference schedule? I repeat, which conference, the PACX or the SEC plays a harder non-conference schedule? But I'm not holding my breath for Bama09 to answer.

When the SEC stops putting 9-10 teams in bowls a year and stops holding up crystal balls, then maybe they'll schedule tougher. Look at overall schedules and tell me who plays a tougher one. Not to mention, just about every bowl the SEC plays in...they play up to competition...and still win 75-80% of the games. (See a 7-5 Tennessee team playing the 9th ranked team in the country last year, VaTech)

question for you? how does one team winning it all mean the rest of the conference is great? how does bama winning it last year mean the rest of you are so great. did you watch bowl season? the SEC struggled in almost all their games. one team lifting the trophy doesnt mean the other teams cant schedule some good OOC games
