Ok maybe the 7 or 8 years comment is a stretch but the other part of what I said is true. Just by your comment below.

I think there's about 115 or so coaches in the country who would kill to average 10 wins a year. If you win 10 a year, every year, you're doing something right. You can see it with Bowden, Mack Brown, Osbourne, etc. If you consistently have your team play at a high level, eventually you will get the breaks. Teams can't win the NC every year, especially in the SEC. It's too difficult. Richt dominated the league when he got here, then his staff went to hell. But he hasn't forgotten how to coach. If we consistently put a quality product on the field, which we haven't recently but I have full confidence we will again soon, we will eventually be back to where we want to be.

For the record, an SEC title every 7-8 years is NOT acceptable to me, or any other UGA fan I know.
