How is that a fail, dipshit?

Okay...try to pay attention: Fenton was a player, Wade was a coach, maybe you should read the thread title again. Furthermore the 1926 Alabama team, coached by Wade, won The Rose Bowl and established a new national respect for Southern football. Not to mention, unlike Doc Fenton Wallace Wade was actually from the South. Idiot.

You're the idiot who can't pay attention. I made a funny little comment in response to the "on the map" comment made by the OP, because my TD name is Doc Fenton. Haha, right? Funny ... maybe not so funny. Whatever. But you have to go turn it into some super serious polemic battle like a total assclown. Congrats on that.

In any case, just to clarify the record: LSU was the best team in the nation in 1908 (the earliest NC awarded to a Southern team by one of the big 3 scholarly research associations); GT was the best team in the nation in 1917 when Heisman was coaching; and then came along Bama. I know it's hard to believe, but there were other great Southern teams before Wallace Wade started coaching.

In any case, let's now turn to your "he's gotta be from the South to be relevant to this thread" argument. On second thought, let's not. It's too mind-blowingly stupid to even consider.

Have a nice day, and GFY.

Sincerely,
Doc Fenton
