They DO have that mentality. Have you even been listening?
Either offer to play them or stop bitching about their weak schedule....you can't have it both ways......
And those losses you cited in the early 2000's were before they started being ranked really high......
When I see evidence that 4 or 5 SEC schools have offered them home-and-homes but were turned down, then I will go along with you, but until I do, you don't have a case.......
I personally am so sick and tired of this holier-than-thou attitude from SEC fans that I could puke......most SEC schools play no more than 1 game per year against any good OOC teams and then they want to be given automatic berths in the NC game simply because they were the best team in their own conference.......

Maybe b/c our conference consistently has some of the best teams in the nation and has won 4 straight BCSNCs

Why should SEC teams do that? Our schedules are hard enough as it is with having to play anywhere from 3-5 ranked opponents a year just from in house.

We're the best conference with the best teams. I mean we literally are the best. Winning breeds that attitude.

Wrong. As has been stated, most SEC schools schedule down OOC games because they have to play a Florida, LSU, Georgia, Bama, etc. every damn year guaranteed. Boise doesn't. Boise has NO IDEA what it's like to have to get amped for 10 or 11 out of 12 weeks. They would be in ruins if they had to play a real schedule. The reason a 1 loss SEC champ should most likely be in the NC is because they have proven it against the very best competition every single week, not because they beat a team ranked about 15th in week 1 and then ran through a high school slate weeks 2-12.
