I wasn't there, but they probably said that they wanted a home-and-home and got resistance. They have earned the right at this point to being treated with the respect that a home-and-home would entail.
I seriously doubt they turned down a home-and-home with Florida, but if you can provide me with evidence that they did, then I will consider it.
Again, if you don't like their high ranking, there is a simple solution. Put your money where your mouth is and put them on the schedule.....or stop complaining. You cannot have it both ways. On the other hand, if several SEC schools offer them home-and-homes and they DO refuse, THEN they will be fair game......

I'm not really complaining, they're not a BCS team so technically they can't be in the national championship. And I'll be sure to call Hammy up and ask him to remove Nebraska and Oklahoma from our upcoming schedules so the boys can go play against a WAC team in Idaho.

No they haven't. Why wouuld they? Because they finish in the top 10 every year with that joke of a schedule? Color me unimpressed. As has been noted, look what's happened when they've actually manned up and left the confines of Boise. 48-13 beat down in Athens in 2005. 41-14 in Arkansas in 2002. 32-13 in Columbia in 2001. They don't deserve equal respect because they get up for 2 games a year when SEC schools have to get up for 9 or 10.
I won't have a single shred of respect for Boise until they adopt the Fresno State mentality- anywhere, anyone, anytime. Fresno doesn't care who it is, they'll go on the road. They don't win a ton, but they ain't scared. Boise is scared. Of course they won't ever change their ways because they don't need to, they're GUARANTEED a BCS bowl every year if they win their 1 hard game on the schedule.
