LINK Thanks to all the SEC Fans who came to Nashville and spent their hard earned money. Nashville was projecting 10 million and received 12 million during the 4 day tournament. If Kentucky would have lost in the first round this amount would have been much smaller. It's amazing the impact one Fan Base can have on money spent during a tourney in Nashville. It's really nice to have everything so compact within a few city blocks for the SEC tournament.

I hope a lot of money goes to that bigger shite hole - "Louisiana" for the NCAA's. I think most UK fans are working on travel arrangements for New York, but quite a few will likely travel South.

You have to admitt,LSU fans are the worse at taking shots at other states.

It wasn't an LSU fan that fired the first shot.

nah that'd be the scum from Alabama wishing more Katrina impact on Louisiana in 2005. I never left an SEC stadium with a sweeter feeling than seeing the pissed off rednecks as we left with an overtime victory to ruin the Gumps' undefeated season.

ETA: I haven't decided if Kentucky will lose in the second round or the elite 8, but I fricking guarantee they aren't making the Final 4. I'm up for all board related bets for the record.

Maybe Wildcat is testing the waters to see what it takes to get banned on TD. He's going about it the correct way.

I personally prefer Basketball Arena's over Football Stadiums for obvious reasons. Nashville just broke ground on a new Convention Center that will be behind and right next to the Basketball Arena. I can't say I've seen a city more perfect for hosting College Sports Events with everything so close in proximity.
