Mike Davis to Auburn???

UAB is byfar the best basketball team in the state.. 17-2.. Mike Davis is turning that program around.. Anyone think AUB goes after him?

Mike Davis looks pissed even if his team is up by 15+ points or if they win..

I think Auburn should go after Mike Davis.. New Arena and he has coached at Indiana and has roots to get the talent out of Alabama.. Auburn should get him

I would be thrilled with Davis. However, I just doubt it happens.

Mike Davis is perfect for UAB, but I don't want him in Auburn.... just my opinion.

Lebo just hasnt produced.. Mike Davis is a known name, Auburn needs someone who has actually coached at a decent school. Though he didnt do well at Indiana it just looks good on a resume unlike Tennessee Tech.. We can't look at where I coach played his college bball cause bball is no longer the same game as when lebo played..

Yes they are.. UAB only losses where to Virginia (which Auburn defeated) and Kent State and those are not bad losses either at the moment..

Indiana is a basketball school so thus he had pressure from day one.. For Indiana to hire him means he has the ability to be a decent coach. Auburn isnt a basketball school so he wont have as much pressure as he did at Indiana.. He will have time to build at Auburn and with the resources at hand who wouldnt want the job.

but for him to have success at AU he'd eventually be under pressure... Mike Davis under pressure = failure.... IMO.

I agree.. UAB has more expectations than Auburn as far as basketball goes.. I think he could build a decent program at AU.. Hell even if we could make the NIT on a regular basis, that'd be a step up

I just dont think Auburn will break the bank for a top-notch coach so my first candidate would be Mike Davis..

I'm glad Alabama didn't go after Mike Davis last year. I don't think he is a very good coach, but he is an upgrade over Lebo. Hell, Gottfried is an upgrade. Go after him
