Because Arkansas fans dumped their coach for a shittier one and LSU lost their coach to the NFL.
Admitting that Petrino is overrated is admitting that they were wrong.

I don't think Petrino sucks. He didn't have much to work with last year, but still had a big win at the end of the season over LSU. This year they were basically a play away against LSU from the Cotton Bowl (and don't forget the Florida game) and they certainly showed improvement over last year, which is the most important thing in the second year of a new regime. The Liberty Bowl is just another case of one team wanting to be there and the other one wishing they were somewhere else, don't overreact.
