Could they beat Bama? Sure.

If I was forced to bet the house I would put the money on Bama though.


TCU is a VERY complete team and certainly would be able to keep up with BAMA. I don't think the game would be a blow out either way.

I see the biggest weakness for TCU being the up front physicality and depth. I would expect Bama to pound the ground game until TCU stopped it (which may be quickly considering they have the 2nd best rush defense in the nation). However, TCU's offense is dynamic and has the ability to produce the big plays. A slow scoring Bama may have real troubles with a faster scoring TCU.

BAMAs biggest weakness would be either underestimation of their opponent and/or the momentum loss when they are behind to a "MWC nobody" Lets not forget Alabama won games against 4 teams by only 10 pts or less, including AUB and Tenn. So the possibility of a loss to TCU is very real had we ever seen this game.
