There is no reason to leave Alabama it is as big as any other college job out there and he has complete control.

This. All this talk about Saban going to Penn State is just wishful thinking. People want him out of the SEC. imo he will retire at bama
in 8 to 10 years.

Not at all.. Saban will leave Bama.. What reason did he have to leave LSU? He loves a challange, and wants to fix things. That's what he does.. UA should enjoy him while they have him because he will be gone.. He's self-centered, so when things are expected from a program he must move on so the center of attention is on what he is doing...

I do agree it appeared as though Saban took the "logical steps" in his coaching career and wound up at UA after a brief, unsuccessful stint in the NFL. If that is true its possible he could retire there. BUT theres also evidence that Saban IS self-centered and likes a challenge/spotlight- as this poster put it. Ultimately no one really knows because even though Saban has shown evidence to support BOTH claims, history also shows he isnt one to tell the truth about it. One thing is for sure, though- There are other high profile jobs like UA in college football that need "fixing". I guess we'll all find out within the next few years which claim holds water. Just dont expect to hear it from Saban if he does leave.
