Oh God no, please dont say Gottfried. Listen, he was good the first 5 years and stunk the latter five. He got all the best in state talent and those guys kept us in the games, but they never got better as a basketball player for playing under him. The last three years the best in- state ballers looked else where to play. They saw the writing on the wall and eventually the AD saw this also. The firing was three years too late IMO and we are now in rebuilding mode.

I think Anthony Grant can turn things around. He was a good hire by you guys. Trent Johnson vs Anthony Grant should be a good match up for years to come.

I hope our whole fanbase realizes this. Grant won't be able to turn this around instantly like Saban did, but we still need to support him. I got season tickets although I didn't make it to the game tonight
