There's no excuse for losing to Morgan State in Bud Walton arena.

I went to a game the other night vs. Appy St. I swear, there used to be more people there when they would open up basketball practice before football games. The crowd was the thinnest I've ever seen it for a regular season game.

Mike Anderson makes the most sense. Sure, he turned down Bama. or Georgia, or whoever. Neither job is Arkansas. A winner will have 20k butts in the seats, knowledgeable fans who care, and a good paycheck.

Basketball will lose money this year. If Pel stays, they'll lose more next year. A Sweet 16 caliber team will pay for itself. 20k seats will sell out.

I think Mike Anderson would be intersted. He is Nolan's protege. Nolan still lives here in Fayetteville.

My dream scenario would be Mike Anderson with Corliss Williamson as an assistant and Nolan back as a mentor.

Pel inherited a shitstorm, but I haven't seen any improvement, and this is year 3.

In your scenario, you will need someone to recruit. Might as well throw Scott Edgar in there too.

Anderson isnt coming to Fayetteville. At MU he can win now and cover things up well. MU is run by basketball and he doesnt have to live up to Norm Stewart. If Anderson comes to the Nam he will always be compared to Nolan. I think it needs to be someone who has ties to Long, someone who also understands what the "monster" is and most importantly...knows how to handle the monster when it is hungry (Pel just has not learned that part yet).
